Hi, I’m Grace. I’m a lyricist and aspiring journalist, and a new member of the Youth Board. I am super excited to embrace all of the opportunities the board has to offer and to help bring more literary opportunities to young people across Nottingham.
I recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a BA in Classics, and I’m currently working as the Literary Co-Editor at LeftLion magazine, where I am able to delve into the cultural impact of literature on Nottingham in more detail.
Most of my creative writing happens through music and writing original songs with my band. These usually explore themes of transformation, loss and learning to find and love yourself.
In addition to my love of literature, I also enjoy sewing and creating clothing, as well as filmmaking.
