About this event

Writing is often seen as a very serious pursuit, but it doesn't have to be. In this workshop, we'll explore new ways of writing about the funny, silly, humorous and downright bizarre. We'll use a series of fun writing activities to create new work, and work out your chuckle muscles too! This workshop is great for anyone with an interest in writing (poetry or prose) or anyone looking to try a fun creative activity!

Poet and workshop leader, Leanne Moden, will share tips, techniques and tricks for improving your writing, sharing contemporary examples and helping you to find the funny.

This workshop will be delivered online via Zoom. Zoom is a web-based video calling service. In order to access this workshop, you will need an internet connection, and a computer with built-in camera or webcam, and a built-in microphone or speaker. The link to join the workshop will be emailed to you ahead of the session.

Tickets are £10 each for a two-hour session.
