About this event

Tentacles is a new collective and network for disabled and D/deaf writers, based in Nottingham. We are a friendly, un-patronising space to write and challenge your creativity with fully accessible sessions available for all writers.

The workshops, which focus on writing poetry and spoken word for performance, will take place on the last Wednesday of every month at the Nottingham Playhouse, the fourth session will be taking place on Wednesday august 29th from 5pm to 7pm.

Workshop sessions are led by disabled writers Neal Pike and Maresa MacKeith, with guest workshop leaders from a variety of disciplines, and monthly workshops will be open to writers of all ages and abilities.

Tentacles is supported by Nottingham Playhouse and Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature, and funded by the commissioning programme UNLIMITED.
