About this event

The cultural ,political , spiritual and scientific ideas that shaped our theology collection from the early nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth century. Illustrated by books from the collection.
Of himself Stephen says " I have had a lifelong interest in theology and spirituality, I see our collection through the eyes of a member of The Society of Friends ( Quakers) - of a non- theistic persuasion, who also practices Zen Buddhism - My other great passion is history, so the last few months spent with these books has been an illuminating and engaging journey."
