About this event

Charlie Peace was a Nottingham villain from Narrow Marsh, who came to a bad end.

In this illustrated talk Michael Eaton will describe how his memory and myth has been kept alive in nursery rhyme, waxworks, travelling shows, silent movies, graphic novels even and, more recently, Michael’s own – soon to be revived – Playhouse show.

Charlie Peace: his amazing life and astounding legend has just been published by Five Leaves.
