About this event

All stories, whether long or short, have one essential element; timing. It's a key component to a great read, but how do you create it, and how does it fit in within the 'acts' of a story. This workshop will give you the skills to really challenge your protagonist, and reward your reader.

Throughout this workshop, you will...
Learn how to craft a flowing narrative that has a variety of paces; fast, slow, dramatic, and everything in between.
Discover the 'Three Acts' that all stories have, and how the 'Hero's Journey' can help you and your protagonist tell a fulfilling tale.
