About this event

As writers, we're constantly looking to the unusual, peculiar, and extraordinary to inspire our writing.

But what about the "infra-ordinary"? The details, movements and rhythms of the everyday. How can we use the bits in between to create new poetry?

This July, we'll be joined by writer and performer Lytisha Tunbridge for a journey to the nearby. Throughout this 2-hour session, Lytisha will be exploring the "infra-ordinary", the details of life, and how we can apply this concept to our own poetry through short writing exercises, discussion, and feedback.

During the session, you will...

Complete some short exercises to take away
Discover more about the concept of the infra-ordinary
Think about how you apply it to your own writing
Enjoy an afternoon of writerly fun
