About this event

Alex Vasudevan spans continents in tracing the struggle for housing including looking at successful mass squats such as Copenhagen’s Freetown Christiana and the squats of Lower East Side in New York.

Reclaiming the city, however, has often led to repression but is an alternative to gentrification and property speculation.

This is a Bread and Roses festival event.
