Never one to take the easy option, Mark decided to go rambling along the Israeli Barrier for 9 weeks. The border is a wall, overseen by watchtowers with signs of ‘warning of imminent death’. This is Mark Thomas' story about Walking the Wall, six arrests, too much hummus and a simple question... ‘Can you ever get away from it all with a good walk?’

Mark tells this story alongside Faisal Abu Alhayjaa and Alaa Shehada, two performers, actors and now aspiring comics from the Jenin Club. This is a story about being yourself in a place that wants to put you in a box.

After the show, Mark will be back with a live presentation to let us know what happened next. And then we will have a Q+A – please leave your questions in the chatroom as the show is on.

20% of your ticket purchase will go to Lakeside Arts.
