About Ava

What book do you wish everyone would read and why?

The Gene by Neel Siddhartha perfectly utilises the techniques of a storyteller to weave a comprehensive understanding of humanity’s questions over what life is and how it began. Goes to show that a weighty textbook isn’t the only way to convey complex information.

Who are your favourite authors?

  • John Steinbeck
  • Juan Pablo Villalobos
  • Luke Rhinehart

Where is your favourite place to find books?

My parents’ bookshelves.

What do you love most about living in Nottingham?

The transport system (always appreciated).

What are your hopes for the project?

To learn how to put my ideas to paper more effectively.
