James Walker

James Walker is a writer specialising in large-scale collaborative projects. He is the literature editor of LeftLion magazine and a former director of Nottingham City of Literature, Festival of Words and the Nottingham Writers' Studio. ​

About James

James specialises in large-scale multi-collaborative digital projects that explore Nottingham's literary heritage. These include The Sillitoe Trail (commission for The Space) and Dawn of the Unread' (winner of a 2015 Guardian Award). 

He is currently working on D.H.Lawrence: A Digital Pilgrimage and Whatever People Say I Am. 

His work has been published by BBC Radio 3 and 4, The Guardian, Independent and various magazines.
