This World Poetry Day, come and join the Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature Youth Board at
Pizza Pilgrim’s in Hockley for a delectable workshop blending two of life’s greatest things: Pizza and
Poetry.

You bring the poetry and we’ll bring the pizza!
The evening’s workshop will be led by Oliver Nichol, Youth Board Vice Chair and Invoke Poetry
workshop facilitator.

The evening’s activities will include writing a collaborative found poem using the works of Italian
writer Cesare Pavese, before beginning our own Pilgrimage taking influence from other UNESCO
Cities of Literature. After we’ve tingled our taste buds on delicious pizza, we shall end the evening by
writing our own fantastico poems.

The evening will run from 6:00 – 8:00pm on Thursday 21 st March at
Pizza Pilgrims,
15 Carlton Street,
Nottingham,
NG1 1NL.

Tickets range from £0-3.00 and pizza and a soft drink is included in the ticket. Book your tickets
below and inform us on any dietary requirements.
