Vacancy: Programme Manager

Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature is seeking an exceptional Programme Manager.

These are exciting times for Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature, and this new Programme Manager role will be responsible fo managing learning and participatory projects which address our priority for developing new audiences for literature, creative writing and reading, with particular emphasis on young people in formal and informal settings.

The successful candidate will take forward other existing projects and will be assisted by the Director in shaping and developing new projects and campaigns at home and across the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

About you

You will be an enthusiastic and highly effective arts manager or producer with at least two years’ experience of delivering high quality projects within a learning and participatory environment. You will have experience of developing partnerships with education providers, cultural partners and community groups, and excellent planning skills and confidence in dealing with a wide range of people.

This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a small team, and learn about and contribute to the development of a young organisation embarking on a three year period of growth.
