In May 2017 Nottingham Peacebuilders hosted its first series of events under the banner ‘Small Acts of Kindness Change the World’.  By exploring the power of the individual to make a difference, Nottingham Peacebuilders set out to raise the profile of ‘peace building’ locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

They are now calling for submissions to contribute to an anthology of poetry and flash fiction, which will be published in print and online and launched in November 2017.  This is an open submission process and work will be selected for the anthology by an experienced panel.  Successful entries will be printed alongside nationally and internationally acclaimed writers. The anthology will be printed by Russell Press, imprint of the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation.

The deadline for submission is 12 noon – 15 October 2017. Successful entrants will be informed by 31 October.

There will be a number of live events around the launch in late November and all successful entrants will be invited to attend.
