This innovative project pairs up local businesses with current students to give them a taste of vocational working, while the organisations they join benefit from the student’s skills and knowledge. Last year our students helped design the marketing materials for our successful Lost Words For Notts campaign.

Over the next two weeks, two marketing students will support our Big City Reads campaign by creating social media content as well as building up engagement with the audience in order to show that reading is for everyone and anyone can get involved.

The project, involving Young City of Literature Ambassadors, will feature four especially selected books to describe how it is to live in 2019. The books will focus around contemporary social issues, which increases awareness amongst the young adults of Nottingham and helps them to understand such issues from a greater perspective. Each book highlights a different social issue and imparts compelling stories which allows young adults to learn and enjoy at the same time.
