Could you be a City of Literature Trustee?

Wed 9 Sep, 2020

We are inviting up to three new members to join our Board of Trustees as we approach our fifth anniversary.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to make their mark in one of the UNESCO Creative Cities at a time of significant development. Of equal importance to us is finding trustees who share our ambition of building a better world with words. In particular, areas of expertise sought are Finance, Youth Empowerment, and Equality, Inclusion & Diversity. We especially encourage applications from people of colour and younger people, as well as those whose experiences and perspectives are currently under-represented on our board and in our sector.

Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature is an educational charity and is supported and funded by Arts Council England, Nottingham City Council, Nottingham Trent University and University of Nottingham. Our patrons include Panya Banjoko, Henry Normal and Alison Moore.

If you think you would enjoy the challenge of helping us deliver this work at this exciting time, and share our ambitions to create an inclusive, diverse, sustainable organisation, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Please send us an expression of interest by 15th October to
