Could you be a City of Literature Trustee?

Tue 16 Jul, 2019

We are seeking to appoint new Trustees who have the skills and interests to support us to take our dynamic City of Literature to the next stage of its development.

Under the leadership of the Chair, David Belbin, and Director, Sandeep Mahal, the organisation has a new strategy, mission and vision.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to make their mark in one of the UNESCO Creative Cities at a time of significant development. Of equal importance to us is finding trustees who share our ambition of building a better world with words.

In particular, the board wish to appoint one trustee who is a creative writer from the city's diverse writing scene. They may have other experience that will enrich the board but we're particularly looking for good knowledge of the current literary community.

Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature is an educational charity and is supported and funded by Arts Council England, Nottingham City Council, Nottingham Trent University and University of Nottingham. Our patrons include Panya Banjoko, Henry Normal and Alison Moore.

If you think you would enjoy the challenge of helping us deliver this work at this exciting time, and share our ambitions to create an inclusive, diverse, sustainable organisation, we would be delighted to hear from you.
