There will also be a creative marketplace running for the entirety of the day, with stalls ran by arts organisations, creative youth boards, and young creatives themselves. Here, you can expect a wave of opportunities to get involved in, and several activities to jump into. But that’s not all we have planned…
Worldwide, young people are engaging with the arts, and what better way to bring those people together than a roundtable event? These artists, from Cities of Literature across the globe, will meet online to discuss their creative practices and projects, learning from their peers in this unique event. A collaboration that, while not on the scale of Arthur and his knights, showcases the talent of young people today and allows them to meet in a way that’ll be incredibly insightful.
There will be two such events – 11am on the 10th August and 6pm on the 12th August. These will not be open to the public, however, in the lead up to the roundtables, you will be able to find out all about the cities involved and their spotlighted young artists by keeping an eye on our blog and social media!
