"I enjoy reading to experience alternative worlds and realities, to learn about other cultures and other points of view. Growing up in Mexico, I read lots of Hispanic Literature. My favourite book is The Flanders Panel, by Spanish author Arturo Perez Reverte, a fantastic book that encompasses art, chess and mystery. Octavio Paz’s Labyrinth of Solitude has also influenced my own views about Mexican identity".
