About this event

Described as the modern, accessible and unstuffy face of poetry, Simon Armitage CBE’s writing combines slang and immediacy with a sardonic wit. A master of wordplay with a keen ear for dialogue and a nose for memorable expressions, he’ll be supported by award-winning poet and writer Cathy Grindrod as well as filmmaker, educator and poet, Ioney Smallhorne.
