About this event

Join us for a look around Bromley House library. Step back in time to explore a fine Georgian Grade II* listed Town House which is home to an historic independent lending library that has operated continuously since 1816. 

There is a chance to see the fine reading rooms, glimpse some of the 45,000 volumes in our collections and take a peak into 'the secret garden'. Once in the library you can take your time exploring with a self guided your.

Book your place

Entry is free and there is no need to book - although there might be a small queue at busy times. 

The library is on the first floor and above, and we regret that we are currently unable to offer access for wheelchair users or visitors who have difficulty climbing stairs.
