Vacancy: Executive Assistant

Fri 9 Jun, 2017

Super-organised, composed, bristling with energy and obsessed with reading and writing? We're looking for someone like you...

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Director. This role requires a robust individual who will provide seamless administrative support. You will know how to make our readers, writers and partners feel at home, and you will prioritise your tasks through the day so that everyone who comes into contact with our office has an equally exciting experience.

But that’s not all.

This is a varied, hands-on role: from executing social media plans to promoting and supporting cooperation between the 20 UNESCO Cities of Literature. You will need excellent organisation and communication skills, an ability to hit deadlines, and a passion and drive from the outset. You should also have a knowledge of and an interest in Nottingham’s arts and literature scene.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who can juggle multiple priorities and exercise effective judgement when managing competing deadlines. We’re a small team and our job is different every day, so you will need to be flexible, motivated and creative in how you approach your work.
