With a background as an actor, director, playwright, comedy club compère and press agent, Stephanie Sirr has been chief executive of Nottingham Playhouse since 2001, previously holding the same post at Blackpool Grand Theatre and the Merlin Theatre in Somerset.
Under Stephanie's leadership, the Playhouse has gained a worldwide reputation for bold theatre, premiering The Kite Runner and 1984 (both of which have gone on to the West End).
Stephanie also oversaw a £1.9 million environmental improvement scheme which won a coveted Nottingham Post environmental award in 2015.
